Stamp Group Projects

Happy Sunday everyone.  Just wanted to show you a few of the projects I did with my Stamp Group on Thursday evening.

This card was done using aluminum foil and the Sizzix Texture Plates.  I learned this last week at my upline's house at a demonstrator training.  All you do is glue your aluminum foil onto some cardstock with a glue stick and then run in through the Sizzix with the texture plate of your choice.  The girls at my stamp group just loved it.

The next card is one using the Dear Friends Level One Hostess Set.  I had them emboss the flower and then bleach the image and then color with water color pencils or crayons to put the color back in.

We also used one of the texture plates for the background of the card.  That is all I have for now.  Thanks for stopping by. 

 

 

Rustic Rooster & Sweetest Stem

Had a rather large workshop today and wanted to share the projects we did.  I used the Level 2 Hostess Stamp Set - Rustic Rooster:

Since I had 10 people at this workshop I wanted to keep it simple.  The french writing is embossed.  We used brown craft ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. 

The next project was a gable box.  I used the tutorial from Splitcoast stampers for this box:

It was pretty easy to make.  I had them all use the sweetest stemp embosslet to finish it off.  Everyone seemed very pleased with the projects.  That is it for today.  Have a great rest of the weekend.

Holiday Tags

This coming weekend I will be having a Holiday Tags in a Tin Class.  The tags will be made using the Season of Cheer Rub-on's from Stampin Up and a few assorted Christmas stamps.  When finished with the tags the attendee's will decorate their DVD tin using holiday DSP. 

Here is the outside of the tin I decorated:

I used the Frosty DSP and Kiwi Kiss cardstock.  The letters were cut out using the Simple Serif die for the Sizzx.  I added a few felt snowflakes for the top of the tin with a rhinestone brad.

As you can see the tags were made with assorted punches, rub-ons and lots of dimensionals.

Workshop Tomorrow

I have a workshop to do tomorrow - brand new stampers.  I just love doing workshops with new stampers. They always seem to get so excited and realize that they too can make something beautiful themselves and it so much fun to show them how easy it is.  Here are the projects they will be making tomorrow:

I just love this stamp set we were given at convention - Inspired by Nature.  This is a very simple card for them to do.  Colors I'm using are Chocolate Chop and Always Articoke.

The next project is a simple bag using the Flight of the Butterfies stamp set.  A little more work but very easy.  I'm going to have them cover some peppermint pattys to put in their bag. They will be punching out scallops and covering them with the butterly image.  I hope they like the projects and they all become stampers!  Hope you have a nice weekend!
